It’s a been a while between updates here at rollUp Bowls – for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, after another lengthy lockdown, we’ve been allowed back on the green. In Melbourne we’ve been blessed with some glorious weather, and the pennant season is delivering some cracking matches.
Secondly, we’ve been working on a new feature which took significantly longer than I’d anticipated. I am a massive fan of the Bowls Premier League, it’s a fast-paced format of bowls – and as a TV experience there’s nothing better. The world’s best bowlers playing crucial shots time and time again. It’s unbelievable.
It’s no surprise that the format is becoming increasingly popular, so I wanted to make sure rollUp was ready to handle it. I won’t lie, it was tricky to build (sets, powerplays and tiebreakers means lots of code) but I’ve finally got a beta version for you to try it.
