Hi, I’m Anthony – the developer of rollUp Bowls.
rollUp Bowls was a passion project during Melbourne’s extended Covid lockdown in 2020.
Being a lawn bowler and a self-taught app developer, I wanted to build an app that would make it easier for me to save and view scorecards from old matches. I also have terrible handwriting, so anything to replace the pen and paper scorecards was a plus for me!
The rollUp Scorecard app launched in mid 2020, and has been through several iterations as I continue to learn more about app development and talk with bowlers about features they’d like to use. I’m adding to the app whenever I get time, and would love to hear your ideas as well – drop me a line at app@rollupbowls.com.au.
I’m still learning as I go, so apologies if things aren’t perfect. The app might crash occasionally, or not always behave as it should. I appreciate your patience, and hope it will be rewarded with a really useful app.
